몇 년간 학우 여러분의 높은 관심과 지지를 바탕으로 하여 총학생회 모든 단위에서는 꾸준히 높은 투표율로 학생회가 선출되어 왔습니다. 학생사회에 대한 관심도가 떨어지고 있는 상황 속에서, 우리 대학은 단 한 단위에서도 투표율 미달로 인한 비상대책위원회가 구성되지 않았습니다. 이는 성균관대학교 학우 여러분께서 학생 자치와 학생사회에 대한 관심과 기대를 꾸준하게 보여주고 있다는 방증입니다.

그러나, 학우 여러분의 관심과 기대로 선출된 학생회들이 처한 상황은 여의치 않습니다. 학생회비 납부율은 여전히 낮은 상황이고, 이러한 상황은 학생 자치 활동에 제약을 가져와 ESKARA: 초록의 파도와 같은 문화 사업, 간식 배부 등의 학생 복지 사업, 동아리 및 소모임 지원 사업 등이 축소되는 결과를 가져오게 됩니다.

학생사회가 온전히 자립하여 진정한 의미의 학생 자치를 실현하기 위해서는 학우 여러분의 학생회비 납부가 절실히 필요합니다. 학생회비는 오롯이 학우 여러분을 위해서 사용됩니다. 학생회비는 성균관대학교 총학생회칙과 학생회비 가이드라인에 의거하여 민주적이고 공정하게 운용되며, 전체학생대표자회의를 통해 심사를 거쳐 예산안이 편성됩니다. 또한, 오남용을 막기 위해 투명한 결산보고를 진행하여 학생회비 사용내역을 학우 여러분께 공개하고 있습니다. 학생회비는 학생 자치의 질을 향상할 기회이며, 이는 성균인의 권익과 복지 발전의 발판이 됩니다.

학생회비는 등록금고지서에 ‘선택수납금’으로 기재되며, GLS를 통해 등록금고지서 확인 후 등록금과 함께 납부하실 수 있습니다. 납부 기간 및 절차 등 자세한 내용은 자보를 참고해 주시면 감사하겠습니다.

학우 여러분이 납부한 학생회비의 가치를 체감할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠습니다. 학생회비를 헛되이 쓰지 않고, 학우 여러분의 목소리를 하나하나 귀담아듣고 실질적으로 필요한 사업들을 실천하여 성균관 학우 여러분의 대학 생활을 더욱 알차게 만들겠습니다. 성균관대학교 제58대 총학생회 연석중앙운영위원회 일동은 학우 여러분을 위해 최선을 다해 노력할 것을 약속드립니다.

[Request for Payment of Year 2026 Semester 1 Students' Association Fee]

Greetings, we are the 58th SKKU Student Council Joint Central Operating Committee.

Over the past several years, SKKU Student Councils at all units have been elected with consistently high voting participation rate, thanks to the strong interest and support of students. While interest in student communities has been declining in many universities, our university has not formed an Emergency Student Committee due to insufficient voting participation rate in any unit. This clearly shows that students at SKKU continue to care about and place expectations on student self-governance.

However, despite this support, student councils are facing difficult circumstances. The students’ association fee payment rate remains low, and this limits student-led activities. As a result, college events such as ESKARA, student welfare programs including snack distribution, and support for student clubs and groups may be reduced.

For the student community to become fully independent and for student self-governance to function properly, payment of the students’ association fee is essential. The students’ association fee is used entirely for students. Student association fees are managed in a democratic and fair manner in accordance with the General Student Council Constitution and the Student Association Fee Guidelines. The budget is reviewed and approved through Student Representatives Meeting. To prevent misuse, a transparent financial report is conducted, and details of how the fees are used are openly shared with students. Student association fees create opportunities to improve the quality of student self-governance and serve as a foundation for advancing the rights and welfare of SKKU students.

The student association fee is listed as an optional fee on the tuition notice and can be paid together with the tuition after checking the notice through GLS. For detailed information, including the payment period and procedures, please refer to the post.

Every effort will be made to ensure that the value of the student association fee paid by students is clearly reflected. The student association fee will be used responsibly, with careful attention to students’ voices, to carry out initiatives that are genuinely needed and to enhance the overall university experience at SKKU.
