Applications are now open for the Adobe Creative Cloud Named License, which will be applied starting from the 2nd semester of Year 2026. A total of 1,000 licenses are available. Students who applied in the previous semester must reapply in order to use the license again this semester. Careful attention to this requirement is advised. For students who applied in the previous semester, existing cloud accounts from the 1st semester of Year 2026 will be deleted as of August 28 at 00:00 AM in preparation for the 2nd semester of Year 2026 license activation. Data backup is strongly recommended. [What is the Adobe Creative Cloud Named License?] The license allows access to Adobe Creative Cloud programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro. Without a license, using Adobe Creative Cloud requires a subscription fee of over KRW 20,000 per month. To reduce this financial burden for students using the paid version of Adobe, the SKKU Student Council has partnered with Adobe at the university level to provide free licenses each semester. During the past semester, the SKKU student community has continued various projects and activities to create a better university experience by listening to students’ voices. Based on students’ opinions, student councils at each level have worked together to identify projects that are practically needed in university life and to promote students’ rights and welfare. A stable financial foundation is essential for these student-led activities to continue. Since it is difficult to operate all student council projects solely through university funding, student' association fees serve as an important financial resource for carrying out various projects for students. With students' association fees, various projects are being carried out, including cultural programs such as ESKARA: Waves of Green, student welfare programs such as snack distribution, and support programs for student clubs and groups. In this regard, student council fees are an important foundation for student self-governance, enabling student councils to listen to students’ voices, identify their needs, and put necessary projects into practice. Students' association fees are used solely for the benefit of students. The budgets and settlement reports of the SKKU Student Council, College Student Councils, and Department/Major Student Councils are approved through the respective General Student Representatives Assembly in accordance with each council’s regulations and subsequently made public. Details on the use of student council fees are also disclosed through transparent financial reports. Students' association fees are listed as an “Optional Payment” on the tuition bill. After checking the tuition bill through GLS, the fee can be paid together with tuition. For detailed information on the payment period and procedure, please refer to the accompanying notice. Every effort will be made to ensure that the valuable student council fees paid by students are used to make a meaningful difference in university life. This is a follow-up announcement regarding the collection of opinions on the P/F grading system for first-year major courses. On July 28, the University announced that the ‘P/F Grading System for First-Year Major Courses’ would be implemented starting from the second semester of the 2026 academic year. In response to this policy, S’PEAK conducted a survey to collect students’ opinions regarding the ‘P/F Grading System for First-Year Major Courses.’ The survey responses, analysis results, and a list of questions regarding the main concerns raised were subsequently submitted to the University. The University reviewed the materials submitted by the Student Council and informed S’PEAK that the policy will be implemented in the 2026 fall semester based on the original plan announced on July 28, 2026.
